THE  PERFORMANCE AGENCY

For all of my life I have walked the path of impossible… knowing that as my idol and name-sake, Ali said: “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it.

Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing." And on the days when I have doubt or feel like the ask is too big. On those days, I choose to get up, dress up and show up because the work matters, impossible as it might be. It changes lives and leaves the world #better.

Anything of value obtained in life comes with effort and hard work. Talent can take you so far, but it is determination, discipline, focus and effort that will ultimately differentiate you and transcend your life from good to great! I fundamentally believe it is the extent to which I can live this life of greatness, each and every day, that fuels my passion and builds a legacy that my family, friends, and colleagues will cherish and remember!  

We all have the potential to be extraordinary beings. We are capable of so much more than we allow ourselves to believe. Expectations others have of you are only what they are. The capacity and capability to rise above the noise is what makes this work an everchanging, stimulating, human experience. Implementing performance in an agile reality - that’s difficult but exciting. 

Designing and activating transformative change is what opens my eyes to the world. It wakes me up.

My creative journey began with a simple belief: Even if the world wasn't a great place to live, it could still look a little better. Over time, that belief has evolved into something more powerful. I now firmly believe that we have the power to choose the world we live in, actively shaping a #better reality each day. Every thought, decision, and moment of imagination holds the potential to make a difference. And in the process, we can infuse creativity into our visions. This, to me, is the essence of design excellence.

Prior to carving out my role as Experience Director I worked in fields as far and wide as project management and graphic design. This breadth of experience has given me valuable insights into what makes people itch, tick, sit up and take notice. Voracious learner. People grower. Zhooser. This is me. I believe that nothing — ice cream, work, relationships, the delivery of an organisation-shifting solution — should ever be vanilla.

At the core of my being, I am committed to fostering deep and meaningful experiences that challenge traditional norms and inspire transformative shifts in perception.

I was lucky enough to grow up with my grandfather who woke up every single day for over 70 years, with the deep intention of making a difference in our society, improving the lives of impoverished families and fighting for the civic rights of our people. How do I carry that forward? It’s about utilising my skills, my knowledge and my resources to be a force for good, connecting people, and aligning with like-minded partners who also believe in business for better.

I used to throttle my potential by refusing to think "What if?", and ignoring what was truly important to me. But I have since realised that you have to start dreaming before you can achieve anything.

Fear is a limiting factor, and it's present in all of us, but moving past that fear is essential for success. Persistence is much of what separates the successful from the pure wishful thinkers. I distinguish myself by staying calm and motivated even in the toughest of circumstances.

My decision to transition into management consulting following a 10-year legal career was driven by my desire to constantly reinvent myself, and to embrace change as a catalyst for growth and progress. I have discovered that flourishing in today’s increasingly complex world of work demands the courage and commitment to let go of the familiar, and to embrace the unknown. In doing this, I have been privileged to help our partners navigate change with agility and resilience, fostering the development of transformative l and inspiring leaders, shaping empowering and inclusive organisational cultures, and reimagining the landscape of workplace well-being and happiness.

My hero Maya Angelou said: "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." It is a maxim I aspire to live into, every day. All of us are powerful beyond our imagination, capable of making people feel truly seen and heard, and impacting every aspect of how they show up in the world. With this agency comes tremendous responsibility. And a continuous challenge: Have you done all you could today to be a force for good in the world? I am proud to be part of an organisation that takes this responsibility seriously, and that steps into the challenge of business for better every day.

I am driven by a profound belief in human potential. I feel a strong calling to ensuring that no one is left behind on our collective journey into the future. My inherent nature has always driven me to seek improvement, even perfection. I believe there is always room for innovation and finding better ways to accomplish things. Showing up honestly, loyally, and completely committed to my family, friends and co-workers in everything I do is the most important contribution I can think of in this life, in whatever shape or form. There are no half-measures in my world, only doing my best. I believe that by setting a positive example and consistently giving my all, I can inspire positive change in the world. #BeaBETTERhuman.

Throughout my professional journey, I have come to truly appreciate the immense value of curiosity, an open mindset and continual growth. These qualities have been the guiding force behind my own growth, development and accomplishments.

Leveraging my background in commercial law and my broad analytical thinking, I embarked on a transition into management consultancy. This shift has allowed me to embrace and nurture my curiosity, and to help our clients navigate complexity, foster people-centred approaches in all that they do, and most importantly, land strategic impact and drive transformative change in an ever-changing world of work.
